If you have successfully established a new and exciting business venture in the Vale in the last 3 years, then this award
could be for you. Aylesbury Vale has a growing reputation as a centre of excellence for entrepreneurship and the District
Council is keen to help reward and recognise this.
Assessment Criteria
We will be looking for an entrepreneur who can demonstrate:
• A high level of creativity and innovation in the development of a business or of its products or services in the last 3
years
• Strong leadership skills in the running or development of the business
• How you have overcome any obstacles and devised solutions to effectively deal with these issues
• Financial performance and how you have managed cash flow and your long term sustainability
• Strategic direction - what’s your long term vision and how do you plan to get there?
Scoring:
Points will be awarded for all of the assessment criteria indicated above as well as the overall presentation of the submitted application.
