It’s that time of year again when businesses across Aylesbury Vale come together to celebrate excellence with the 11th Aylesbury Business Excellence Awards. So if you have a successful business, then why not shout about it and join us on Friday, May 23 at the Aylesbury Civic Centre for a night to remember.

The awards are the undoubted highlight of the business year in the Vale. Not only is it an opportunity for your business to receive the recognition it deserves, it is also a time for you to let your hair down and enjoy a truly fantastic evening. Over the years we have had an array of celebrity guests join us at the awards including Barry Cryer, Tom O’Connor, Bobby Davro and Canon & Ball. This year, we are joined by the irrepressible Phil Tufnell. Affectionately known throughout the cricketing world as ‘The Cat,’ Phil Tufnell has entertained television and sporting crowds over the years. He has also earned a huge following since his exploits on I’m a Celebrity ....Get Me Out of Here.

There are nine categories to enter, all you need to do is decide which are applicable to you and your business. You can present your entry however you wish. Remember, you can enter for more than one award. A new category for 2007 is the International Trade award, which will celebrate a local business which can demonstrate they are building their presence in a global market place and measuring up to the standards of competition from both home and abroad.

We would like to thank all the sponsors, both old and new, who have helped to make this prestigious event possible. Without their support it wouldn’t have been possible to continue with this event that has developed immensely over the last decade and is now in its eleventh year.

Now all we need are your entries. The judges will be looking for a business, or an aspect of your business, that stands out from the crowd.
